(Beautiful Cake by Jessica N. Diamond) |
In honor of that resolution I am going to part with my two favorite books from July; The Girl Who Fell From the Sky by Heidi W. Durrow and The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake by Aimee Bender. Both books are hardcover, excellent reads and neither are review copies. To be perfectly fair I should be giving away my copy of Still Alice, which I liked equally as much, but my mother is reading it now so it's out of my hands, literally!
This birthday giveaway will run through August 20th. No fancy rules, you can tweet it and share it just for fun, but to be eligible to win just leave me a comment about your own favorite birthday memory, which book you would prefer to win and your email address. Good Luck!!
I hope my family has exciting adventures planned for tomorrow!!!

Just stopping by to say Happy Birthday ; no need to enter me in giveaway.
I am a firm believer in book sharing. In fact, I own very few books these days - I mostly use the library. So I can guarantee if I win a book it will continue to be passed along! (I'd love either one, but maybe a slight preference for "Girl Who Fell From the Sky.")
I guess my birthday memory to share would have to be from this January. I had a "big" (ending with "0") birthday and my daughters, colluding with my husband, planned a first ever surprise party, even importing my sister from Maryland - it ended up being the very coldest day of the year but we still had fun.
(You can use my UNI email, or FB messaging...)
A very Happy Birthday to you!! Enjoy! No need to enter me in the drawing. :-)
Happy Birthday!!! No need to enter me in the drawing -- just wanted to wish you a wonderful birthday! :)
Happy Birthday!
My favorite birthday memory is the year my daughter who was 8 I think got together with my mom to get me a children's book that she knew I would like even if it wasn't her style and a tiara to go with it.
If I win, my choice would be The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake.

I don't need more books so don't enter me, but happy birthday a few days late.
Happy Belated Birthday to you!
My favorite birthday memory: I was 7 and my parents gave me a much wished for gift. My mom snapped a picture of me when I opened it. My mouth is wide open and my tongue is green from my Flintstones vitamin :)
Please enter me in the giveaway...I would love to read The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake.

Happy Birthday! No need to enter me in the giveaway I am just stopping by for the Hop. I look forward to following your posts.
A somewhat belated happy birthday to you - still better late than never.
I always prefer other peoples birthdays, buying the card and present, arranging the party, its such fun.
I don't know if this is international or not, I live in hope. As for the book? If I am lucky enough to win, I'll let you choose - I love surprises.
