Today this advocate for peace is speaking close to home and
my husband and I are biking over this morning to hear him speak.
This morning he will be part of a panel on violence in the school
systems and this afternoon he will give the keynote address.

The first time I ever visited San Francisco the Dalai Lama was also visiting. My husband and I went to see the Golden Gate Bridge and wander about in the park there and were awed to see the Dalai Lama and bunches of monks in saffron robes all also wandering about in the park. It was a gorgeous scene with the Bay and the Bridge and the robes moving about in the wind. Enjoy seeing him today.
What an amazing opportunity!!! I can't wait to hear all about it. And I must admit that I'm a tad bit jealous . . . Actually a lot!!
