Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along!
Just do the following:
* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My teasers:
He fully expected the
giant oak tree to start swinging its branches and tossing acorns at him. Maybe it would tear down the power lines and electrocute him.

Intriguing and descriptive. Thanks for visiting me and my teaser Tuesday.
I like Grabenstein's adult mysteries, but have not read any of hid childrens/YA...enjoy
Ha! Love the cover of that book...the tree looks malevolent! Reminds me of the Whomping Willow (was that it's name or am I just completely batty?) from the Harry Potter stories. Great teaser!
Thanks for coming by my blog earlier, too!
Thank you Jennifer, Diane and Celi.a for your comments-I can't wait to get home and finish the book tonight! The tree does look very much like the whomping willow, you are right! I didn't know he had adult books, Diane-I will have to look at the library for some. He is very descriptive!
I am just in love with that cover ... and the quote was great too!
Jenners-
I know, see the cover drew me in as well-see my review later today!
That sounds interesting! Love the cover!
Thanks for stopping by my blog this week. :)
